Chicorée Leroux accepts instant online payments by credit card (Carte Bleue, Mastercard, Visa) as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Payment by check is also accepted, provided that the Customer has made a request via customer service by email or phone. In this case, the payment is considered final once the check has been processed by Chicorée Leroux.
The Customer expressly declares that they have all necessary authorizations to use the credit card for payment of the Order.

8 – Shipping and Delivery
Orders are processed by Chicorée Leroux’s marketing department as quickly as possible upon the Customer’s order confirmation.

Direct Pickup at the Chicorée Leroux Factory
For Colissimo Home Deliveries:
If the package fits into the recipient’s mailbox, it will be delivered directly. Otherwise, a delivery notice will be left, indicating the pickup location.
If there is no mailbox or if access to it is restricted at the given delivery address, the package will be redirected to a pickup point and considered delivered. The carrier will not contact the recipient. If you are not the recipient, you are responsible for informing them that a package is available for pickup at the designated location.
If the recipient does not claim the package within the specified timeframe or if it is returned to Chicorée Leroux, the delivery will be considered completed, and no refund or reshipment to another address will be made.
A new delivery can be arranged, provided that the Customer covers the additional shipping costs.
If the delivery address corresponds to a public institution (e.g., hospital) or a private facility (e.g., company, clinic, retirement home) where the package cannot be handed directly to the recipient, the delivery will be considered completed once the package is handed over to the reception desk or the designated receiving service.
If the package is marked as delivered but the Customer has not received it, they should:
- Verify the delivery address in the order confirmation email.
- Check for a delivery notice in their mailbox or near their door.
- Look around and inquire with neighbors, building staff, or a concierge.
If the package is marked as delivered but has not been received, the Customer should:

For Pickup Point Deliveries via Colissimo or Mondial Relay:
The order is delivered to the pickup point chosen by the Customer. If the recipient does not collect it within the given timeframe or if the package is returned to Chicorée Leroux, the delivery will be considered completed, and no refund or reshipment to another address will be made.
A new delivery can be arranged if the Customer covers the shipping costs.
If the package is marked as delivered but is unavailable at the pickup point:
- Verify the delivery address in the order confirmation email.

Order Tracking:
At all times, the Customer can track their order using the tracking number and carrier link provided at the time of shipment.
Upon Receiving the Package:
The Customer must inspect the package and its contents. Any anomaly must be reported in writing to Chicorée Leroux:

The order is prepared at Chicorée Leroux. Once ready, the Customer will receive an email notification stating that the order can be picked up at:

If the Customer has chosen to customize a product box, the delivery period will only begin once Chicorée Leroux has completed the customization.
10 – Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Articles L. 221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has a 30-day withdrawal period starting from the day of receipt of the order. The Customer may withdraw without providing a reason and without incurring any penalties, except for the return shipping costs, which remain their responsibility.
How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal

For orders containing multiple products with staggered deliveries, the withdrawal period starts from the receipt of the last item.
Returning the Product
- The Customer must return the product without undue delay and within 30 days of notifying their withdrawal.
- The Customer bears the cost of returning the product.
- The Customer is responsible for any depreciation of the product resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and proper functioning.
Refund Conditions
- If the right of withdrawal is exercised, Chicorée Leroux will refund all payments received, including initial delivery fees, within 30 days, in accordance with Article L. 221-24 of the Consumer Code.
- If only part of an order is returned, Chicorée Leroux will refund the proportional shipping fees.
- The refund will be processed via the original payment method (credit card, check, etc.).
- Chicorée Leroux reserves the right to defer the refund until the returned products are received or until the Customer provides proof of shipment—whichever occurs first.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
No withdrawal is possible for personalized products.
In compliance with Article L. 221-28 of the Consumer Code, products customized at the Customer’s request (as specified in Article 11 of the GTC) are non-refundable.
11 – Product Quality
Chicorée Leroux guarantees that:
- Products are manufactured and packaged in accordance with strict quality standards.
- Products are stored following French regulatory requirements.
However, Chicorée Leroux is not responsible for product quality if:
- The Customer does not store the product properly, as indicated on the packaging.
- The Customer consumes the product past the “Date de Durabilité Minimale” (DDM).
12 – Customization Service
Chicorée Leroux offers a product customization service for gift boxes.
- Customization is available for an additional fee, as displayed on the official website.
In the event of a dispute concerning the General Terms and Conditions (GTC) or an order, the Customer should first contact Chicorée Leroux’s Customer Service to seek an amicable resolution.
If no amicable solution is reached, the dispute may be submitted to consumer mediation. However, both parties remain free to accept or decline mediation.
