at Chicorée Leroux
Crop management ensured by a structured industry located mainly on the Flanders plains in the Hauts-de-France region. Over 200 growers and roasters in the region handle all stages of processing, using specialized, high-performance technology to guarantee healthy, high-quality products. They have been working hand in hand with Chicorée Leroux at the Vieille-Eglise and Orchies sites since 1858.
Chicory is a delicate plant that needs to be handled with care. Its production is demanding, complex and requires a multitude of skills and special attention. That’s why the various growers, experts and regional partners in this sector contribute their unique know-how, handed down from generation to generation, respecting the environment and local heritage.

Since 1858, when we first set up our plant in Orchies, the company has always worked with local farmers and partners, and Chicorée Leroux has made a major contribution to the local economy. This economic prosperity has enabled the Orchésian agglomeration to grow. In other words, if the city is the human body, the factory is its heart.
Chicory is a natural, healthy product that has conquered French households ever since it was first marketed. It has also made its mark on local life. Cycling, basketball, soccer, shopkeepers, restaurateurs – the company has always emphasized its local involvement.
Involvement in local and community life
Even today, Chicorée Leroux helps its people and leaves no one behind. The company has entrusted the packaging of our online boutique parcels to the ESAT d’Orchies, a structure that specializes in supporting people with autism. Since its creation, Chicorée Leroux has welcomed its workers and enabled the ESAT to continue to exist.
Chicorée Leroux has enabled young people with autism to integrate socially and learn the rules of community life.
