For some people – and many of us here! – breakfast is the most important meal of the day. We’ve told you about Peruvian, Polish and Russian breakfasts… This time, and because more and more French people are following gluten-free diets [whether out of medical necessity, intolerance or self-care], we’ve chosen to present you with a selection of natural, gluten-free recipe ideas! The perfect way to fill up on energy and lightness!

Fruit for energy!

First of all, there’s nothing like good fruit to fill up your vitamins, antioxidants and so on! Think seasonal fruit: citrus fruits, apples, pears… It’s fresh, 100% natural and good for us! If you’ve got a bit of time on your hands, why not make a delicious pear and banana milkshake with chicory ? It’s smooth, creamy and guaranteed gluten-free!

A little starch

To get through the day, we need something hearty. We’ve already suggested a bowl cake recipe that’s balanced and rich in fiber and protein. For a gluten-free version, simply replace the rolled oats with gluten-free cereals such as buckwheat or millet. And for those who love their slice of bread with jam, we’ve selected a delicious recipe for chicory-flavored bread.

And a hot drink!

For a hot drink, we obviously suggest a hot chicory, prepared in boiling water. This way, you limit your caffeine intake, which can sometimes be aggressive in the morning. And to make this breakfast perfect, take your time… Sit down, enjoy, and it’ll be a great day!
